We're serving up a fresh mix of holiday tunes—some familiar, and some you really aren’t expecting. . This ain't your grandma's Christmas Carol (but she might still love it). It's a bold new tradition packed with laughter, heart, and a whole lot of sass. And the vocals? Absolutely OUT OF THIS WORLD. So get holly, get jolly, and get tickets! DPT’s Holiday Cabaret will be THE celebration of the season!


Dominique Morisseau’s searing and acclaimed play leaps back and forth in time to hold an unyielding lens to the racism and gender biases that plague America's institutions to this day in her acclaimed play, Confederates. Revolution is the bond between two Black women living in America 160 years apart - Sara, an enslaved woman preparing herself to fight for the Union during the Civil War and Sandra, a political science professor at an esteemed university fighting institutional racism. Don’t miss this powerful production written by DPT Executive Artistic Producer, MacArthur Genius award-winning, Tony nominated, Daughter of Detroit Dominique Morisseau.

Something bad has happened to 9-year-old Amanda, and her toys— stuffed penguin Jonah; American Girl Doll Molly; trusted Diary; and newcomer Ugly, a weighted “emotional support” bunny— find their once-peaceful world thrown into darkness and chaos. A play about childhood, guns, and all the wounds we can’t see. An urgent and gorgeous world premiere of Soft Target will close the 10th Anniversary Season at DPT.
